How many Dermopen treatments are needed?
Your medical professional can consult you on a prescribed treatment. Different skin conditions need specific treatment regimens,  as well as being affected by the age of each patient. 2-3 aggressive Dermopen treatments will provide a noticeable difference,  however 5-6 Dermopen treatments will show the most dramatic results. It is important to work with your practitioner on what  treatment specifics to observe. Once the treatment has the desired effect, it is important to maintain collagen stimulation by    returning to your practitioner, or performing a new Dermopen treatment every 12-24 weeks.

Does a Dermopen treatment hurt?
There are two treatments for Dermopen. One treatment involves the use of cream to numb the area, followed by more aggressive, deep  use of Dermopen. The second treatment involves using Dermopen at a shallower depth and numbing cream is not needed. You may find  temporary redness of the skin for up to a day, depending upon the skin and type of treatment. Specially formulated creams can be  used before and after a Dermopen treatment to minimize this.

 How quickly are results visible?
  Visible results of skin rejuvenation are generally seen after just 6-8 weeks following the procedure and improve further over time.  A course of Dermopen sessions is usually recommended to achieve optimum results; however skin improvement is noticeable after just  one treatment.       

Is Dermopen safe?
Skin needling does not involve injections and therefore allergic reactions and side-effects are unlikely to occur. It is minimally     invasive, involves minimal downtime (circa 24 hrs), rapid healing and requires simple after-care.

 Are there any side effects or risks associated with skin needling?
